Dai Nam University is the only partner university requiring mandatory NEET
For six of the seven partner universities — Can Tho, Phan Chau Trinh, Buon Ma Thuot, Dong A, University of Health Sciences (VNU-HCM), and Cuu Long — NEET is notrequired to gain admission. It becomes relevant only later, when the graduate needs a valid NEET qualification to sit India's NExT/FMGE licensing exam.
Dai Nam University in Hanoi is the sole exception on this list: it requires a valid NEET qualifying score as a mandatory admission criterion, alongside a health/medical fitness certificate, before the seat is confirmed. Students considering Dai Nam should have their NEET result in hand before applying.

The minimum age rule, explained
All seven partner universities apply the same minimum age requirement: a student must turn 17 years old on or before 31 December of the year they are admitted. This is a standard threshold across the network and is checked alongside the passport and marksheet documents during registration.
