Overview
About Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy
Established in 1966, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy is a public institution and the only government university among Vietnam's Indian-facing MBBS partner network. Its scale — an 83-acre campus anchored by a 550-bed teaching hospital — gives students clinical exposure from a large, government-run hospital system rather than a single private facility.
Because it is publicly administered, tuition is fixed by the Vietnamese government and increases on a modest, published year-on-year schedule rather than a private institution's discretionary pricing. This, combined with its long track record with Indian students, makes it the most-enrolled university in the network.
