Who qualifies for MBBS admission in Vietnam
General eligibility is straightforward across the network, with one important exception on NEET.
General criteria
- Class 12 pass with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (marks thresholds vary by university, typically 0–80%)
- Minimum age of 17 by 31 December of the admission year
- Valid Indian passport with at least 18 months' validity
- English-medium of instruction bonafide certificate
The Dai Nam exception
For six of the seven partner universities, NEET is not required for admission — it becomes relevant only later, to sit India's NExT/FMGE licensing exam. Dai Nam University is the sole exception: a valid NEET qualifying score is a mandatory admission requirement there, alongside a health/medical fitness certificate.
